What You’ll Be Doing

  • Develop and implement event marketing plans and promotions for various types of events
  • Create content for Wells Fargo Arena and Iowa Events Center on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Snapchat, and Podcast
  • Execute show promotions as agreed upon in the marketing Ad Program
  • Attend meetings that include brainstorming sessions and explain how to execute public relations event ideas
  • Participate in grassroots marketing, including distribution of flyers, hanging posters, and creating relationships with various retailers to promote events
  • Perform a variety of event day responsibilities within the Marketing Department


Requirements

Requirements

  • College student majoring in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Sports Management, Hospitality, or related field of study
  • Working knowledge of programs including but not limited to Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • A desire to work in the entertainment, hospitality, or sports industry
  • Strong attention to detail, a ‘can-do’ attitude, and a desire to learn
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have reliable transportation
